In this “One-Act Play” class, the students will audition, rehearse, and perform the comedic one-act play, How to Succeed in High School Without Really Trying! Through auditions and rehearsals students will learn and develop performance skills, and will be encouraged to challenge themselves outside their comfort zones as they explore comedic acting. This class is ideal for students who want to be part of a production but cannot commit to longer hours, as well as any student who wants to be part of a play in a smaller setting than a full Performance Session. Students will receive 1:1 attention from their teachers throughout the semester to hone their skills and develop them individually as actors. Classes include rehearsal time in addition to lessons surrounding specific acting technique. PERFORMANCES: December 14 at 1pm and 3pm at TAP Studio
Participants must be entering grades 7 to 12.
Registration starts on 06/03/2024 and ends on 09/02/2024.
